RSVP EVENTS/TRIPS

We will depart London on Thursday 2 May 2024. We will fly from a London Airport to Miami (United States). We will then stay overnight in Miami. In the morning we will then fly from Miami, USA to Belize City. Once we arrive in Belize City will will transfer to Ambergris Caye which will be our base for the first dive location. We will then spend 3 days diving the Belize Barrier Reef and Hol Chan(Shark Alley). The Belize Barrier Reef is the 2nd largest reef in the world. At Hol Chan you will be able to dive and snorkel with Nurse Sharks, Southern Sting Rays & Barracuda. Once diving in this location is completed we will then transfer to the small Island of Caye Caulker. Caye Caulker is a fantastic small fishing village off the mainland. The picturesque location also has some fantastic diving. At this location we will have 3 dive days with access to Tuneffe Reef and also Lighthouse Reef. Turneffe Reef has some fantastic diving and is a designated marine reserve. Turneffe Atoll is the largest and the most visually spectacular of Belize’s 3 atolls, unique in the Caribbean. Many of the sites act as spawning sites for reef fish. Here you are likely to see larger reef fish, turtles and spotted eagle rays. Large schools of snappers and jacks can also be seen. Lighthouse Reef is the location for the bucket list dive site the Blue Hole. If this dive site is on your bucket list then this is the dive for you and is one of the world’s renowned dive sites. Once we have completed the diving in this area we then move back to Belize City which is a short boat transfer. We will stay over night in Belize and then undertake some amazing sightseeing on our way to the South of Belize for the last dive location. En route we will see the famous Mayan Temple Sites which will include an overnight stay at San Ignacio. After two days of sightseeing we will then end up in South Belize at a place called Hopkins. In this location we have access to the untouched sights of Glovers Reef and South Water Caye. We will have the option of 3 days diving in these locations to complete the best dive sites in the area. Once we have completed the diving here we will then road transfer back to Belize City which will take around 2 hours 30 minutes. Back in Belize we have the option of either taking a rest or undertaking some local sightseeing. There is also the option to stay at Glovers Reef for a few more days to complete more diving if desired. On the last Friday we will then depart Belize City and fly to Miami, USA. We will stay in Miami, USA for 2 nights before we return to London, UK.

This will truly be an amazing diving adventure including the best Belize has to offer.

The above basic package would not include any equipment rental requirements or national park fees. The trip is totally flexible and divers will be in a position to select the number of days diving at each location and no of days on holiday if required or we are also flexible so divers with less work holiday allowance can join part of the trip for example.

Accommodation
We have arranged accommodation in all dive locations and through out the trip. As a result the overall package cost is likely to be in the region of £1,950.00 without flights. This is excellent considering we are diving the best 3 locations in Belize and also including the the best sightseeing being the Mayan Temple Ruins and historical sites.

Flights
The flights from London to Miami are in the region of £475.00 with British Airways. The flights from Miami to Belize City are in the region of £300.00 return. We will also need transfers between the locations which will be provided by the dive centres.
Visibility ranges from 10-35 metres and the water temperature from 26-29C.

Here is a date for your diaries if you are interested in a trip to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in September 2024 (7 day trip). We are running a trip to Jeddah which has fantastic diving. All the information you require for the trip is below to include accommodation and diving. The group usually go to Egypt and this time we want to experience the east of the Red Sea. Saudi Arabia has an increasing reputation for good diving in Jeddah which has only recently opened up for tourism.

The diving in Jeddah is excellent and is based in the southern part of the Red Sea. The Red Sea has some great diving.
The Red Sea has a variety of aquatic life with large pelagics as well.

The Accommodation Available will be based at Jeddah. The accommodation is a 4 star resort which has received very good reviews and is close to the dive centre. Everything will be very close and relaxing.
The price of the accommodation for 7 nights will be in the region of £300.00 with full board.
All the above prices are based on two people sharing a room. Single rooms will be more expensive if required and I can confirm the price if this is a preferred option for anyone.
Diving
The diving will be very good and we have had some good feedback from Jeddah. It will be a good time of the year to visit Jeddah.

The diving costs will be as follows:
5 days diving which includes (2 dives, tanks, weights, fuel surcharge) Additional dives will be available each day but will be charged extra.
Price of the diving will be in the region of £250.00 for 5 days diving. All divers will be booking 5 days diving so we can stay together as a group.
If you were interested in doing the PADI Advanced then this is an option but please check with me first.
Full equipment hire with computer is in the region of £25.00 per day.

Flights
The best flights currently available are available in the region of £500.00 but could be cheaper by the time we get into 2024 and the industry has had more time to recover. We will need to check out flight times and airlines closer to the time.

Raja Ampat is a fantastic diving location and is surely on every keen divers bucket list. This dive location has it all from extraordinary coral, some wonderful marine life to some incredible macro life. Diving in this location is absolutely fantastic and arguably the very best you will find anywhere. There are more recorded species here than anywhere on the planet and confirmed by Expert conservationists. This is the epicentre of marine biodiversity. We will have 8 nights and 7 days at a luxury dive resort in Raja Ampat with access to the best dive sites in the area. The trip is likely to be up to 14 days in total although the number of days on the trip can be flexible. We will also be including sightseeing in Jakarta to include the Thousand Islands and the best of the city.

We will depart London on Saturday 2 November 2024. We will fly from a London Airport to Jakarta the capital of Indonesia. We will then transfer from Jakarta to Sorong which is the closest airport to Raja Ampat. From the port of Sorong we will need to catch a boat transfer to the amazing islands of Raja Ampat where we will arrive at our luxury dive resort. We will then have the following options with respect to diving:

The basic package above includes 14 dives at Raja Ampat.

The above basic package includes any equipment rental, accommodation and breakfast every morning. The cost of the above package will be in the region of £1,550.00. The trip is totally flexible and you may want to add additional days at Raja Ampat rather than returning to Jakarta for some sightseeing. If so you will have the additional options:

All the below are based on 2 people sharing but many of the group are likely to extend the package so paring people up should not be a problem.

Additional non diving day – £100.00 per diver.
Additional 2 dive day – £200.00 per diver
Additional 4 dive day – £300.00 per diver.

You also have the option of upgrading a 2 dive day to a 4 dive day for an additional £100.00 per diver.

Depending on whether you extend the dive package will depend on how many days you have after to spend in Jakarta before flying home to London. If you join up with the basic package you will then have the option of spending 3 days in Jakarta to include sightseeing (the City and the Thousand Islands).

Accommodation in Jakarta and 1 night in Sorong after the dive package will be in the region of £100.00 each.

As a result the overall package cost is likely to be in the region of £1,650.00 without flights.

Flights
The flights are not available for Nov 2022 yet but it is likely that we will have British Airway options at good prices and the prices are likely to be in the region of £490.00 for London to Jakarta (Return) and £250.00 Jakarta to Sorong (Return).

Considering the fact that Raja Ampat is a bucket list trip and is a very expensive destination we have been able to keep prices reasonable. It is more expensive than normal trips but Raja Ampat is one of the best dive locations in the world and it is normal for dive packages in this region to be in excess of £4,000.00.
